Privacy policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This policy explains what personal information Sites & Social collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short and in plain English, because that's rather the point of us.
Who we are
Sites & Social is a small web design and social media business. If you have any questions about your information, email us atultravelar@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you fill in our contact form we collect the details you give us: your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.
Why we collect it
We use your contact details for one thing: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work. The lawful basis is your consent when you send the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing you didn't ask for.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the site. The site and its form are hosted on Netlify, so form submissions are processed and stored there. The form is protected from spam by Google reCAPTCHA, which Google operates. We don't share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to help you, and no longer than is reasonable. If you become a client we keep what we need to run the work and meet our tax and legal duties. Ask us to delete your details at any time and we will, unless we're required to keep them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these, emailultravelar@gmail.com.
Cookies
The pages of this site don't set tracking cookies. The one exception is the spam protection on the contact form. Ourcookie policyexplains it.
